Identification Card - The Process
This is the “Identification Card” that I made for the “About” section of my portfolio website. The idea behind this was to convey information about myself to the visitors in a more appealing and fun way compared to e.g., just writing a paragraph about myself with a small profile picture next to it etc. I originally thought of this idea back in college, when we were first designing our portfolio websites as part of the course.
The three iterations of the card looked like this:
For this third iteration of the “Identification Card”, I wanted to really give it a bit more thought and make it resemble an actual id card, particularly inspired by California ID’; updating the typography, the profile picture as well as improving the overall layout.
